Washed

A very soft rain has washed the town all night, leaving it smelling of both damp decay and freshness. All the piled leaves are moldering, but the lawn is coming back to life. I'm not sure yet which of these I'm doing. The head yanking yesterday went well, and my neck is feeling pretty good these days, but my hip, knee, shoulder and elbow joints are still sore and stiff. I guess I could go either way. We'll see.


Here's the Beta of yotophoto, a search engine which indexes free-to-use stock photographs-- stuff in the public domain, released under Creative Commons or GNU licenses, etc. There's not much there yet, but it might turn into a useful service over the log run.


Oh, and so long, Republican House. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out (unless you enjoy that sort of thing, of course.)

Complaint

There was a nice fog here this morning, but I missed it as I was sleeping. I probably miss a lot by sleeping. On the other hand, I probably miss a lot of interesting dreams by being awake. I would be nice if there could be two of me, so that at any given time there would be one self awake and the other self asleep, and then I wouldn't miss anything. Oh, wait Three of me, so there could always be one self online and I wouldn't miss anything on teh Interwebs either. Like right now when I have to go shower.
