Early this morning I caught a glimpse of the early sun as it was briefly exposed between two layers of clouds, but now things are damp again. It looks as though the town will get a gray Christmas, which is not surprising. Late December is more apt to be overcast than not in these parts, and far more likely to be rainy than snowy, though the chill in the air is certainly sharp this evening. It will probably snow at the higher elevations, but I'd be surprised to see any white stuff here.

Somehow I managed to sleep through more than half of the last twenty-four hours. Sleeping too much is almost becoming a habit.
