Partly cloudy afternoon passed, alternately bright and dim, but the clouds won out before sunset, bringing an early darkness deeper than normal dusk. There were distant rumbles of thunder a short time ago, and now rain has begun falling. No walk for me this evening. Instead of a walk I guess I'll have some tea and cookies. I've accomplished nothing today, though. I wonder if I deserve tea and cookies? I know! I'll make no pun about just desserts, and thus become deserving of tea and cookies despite my slacking! Life is goodish!
