It looks as though the local Indian Summer will be fading toward the end of this week. It's been nice to have the windows open every day and far into the evenings, and for the fallen leaves to get nice and dry (which makes them much easier to rake up.) I am looking forward to getting a bit more rain though. The lawns have remained green without irrigation for a couple of weeks, but won't for much longer if the dry spell continues. And we are well into autumn, after all. Once the rains begin, I'll have more time to spend on various Internetish behaviors, too, including doing things here. So goodbye, Indian Summer. It's time for a bit of hunkering down.
