Too Nice

Now that it's gone, I find that I miss having the bright white of the snow on the ground by night. It seems so dark out there now, despite the waxing moon. Also, I'm out of orange juice already and tomorrow is only Thursday. I usually have a bit left at the end of the week. It's being too warm here for February, that's the problem! While I'm glad for the birds who've been having a great time in the mild afternoons, and it's surely nice to have the windows open all day, and there will be savings on the utility bill due to the furnace running less, and... oh, hey. Why am I worried about the snowless ground being dark or me lacking orange juice when all those advantages can be weighed against such things?
