True Grit!

Teeth are all freshly cleaned and polished, and gums have been poked and prodded without sanguinary incident. I ought to be safe from dental havoc (and that gritty mint-flavored polishing compound) for another six months. Being in that prone position on that tilty chair for twenty minutes left my neck and back sore, though, so I don't feel like dealing with the computer now. Besides, it's a balmy, breezy night, and few of those probably remain this year. I'm going to go out and listen to the leaves and acorns fall and watch the moonlight through the pine needles.
