Bang

Construction noise nearby (somebody's getting a new roof) kept me awake all morning. After finally getting to sleep, I didn't wake up until after four o'clock this afternoon. Now I'm cranky, and even further behind than usual. They only worked on the construction half a day, so they'll probably be back tomorrow. I hope they're done by Thursday, because I have an appointment with my chiropractor that afternoon, and I hate getting my head yanked about when I've had too little sleep.

At least it looks as though it's going to cool off a bit to something more early-springlike for the next few days. An early onset of summery weather, coming on top of the arrival of spring pollen, always leaves me out of sorts. We probably won't be lucky enough to get any rain, though. Maybe the next week. An April bereft of showers would be disastrous.
