Terrible Setbacks for Clocks and Pagans
Oct. 31st, 2009 11:39 pmI must be just about caught up on sleep now, because I didn't wake up until nearly four o'clock this afternoon. I probably won't need the extra hour I'll get from the annual demise of Daylight Saving Time, which is to take place in a little over two hours.
This has been a perfect night for Halloween, but Halloween skipped this block totally. Not a kid, not a pumpkin, not a drag queen, not even a (totally) black cat. I guess the witches aren't taking over the world after all— at least not this part of the world.
I'm going out to look at the almost-full moon. There will be no candy wrappers to clean up.
