But It's a Dry Cold

The recent drizzles have done little for the water supply. The disturbing news is that so far this season California's precipitation is at 24% of normal. The next (probably anemic) storm is expected to arrive Sunday. It's as though all the water that's supposed to be falling here is instead falling as snow in the east. Maybe the next time clouds pass over we should all go out and make lots of noise. Or maybe we should sacrifice a goat or two. The goats are all going to die of thirst anyway.

The nights are certainly cold, though. I'm not pleased with December.
