Maybe it was a fluke, but my disrupted sleep pattern was half fixed today. I woke up at 12:30 in the afternoon. But as I'd only gotten to sleep after eight o'clock this morning, I can't consider this a return of stability. But dinner was at the right time, and maybe I'll get to sleep before the sun comes up Sunday, and then sleep seven or eight hours. Then it will only be a matter of maintaining the pattern until it becomes a habit again. But none of that has happened yet, so I won't count chickens instead of sheep.

The rain is back tonight, though afternoon was mild and sunny. I left the windows open for a while despite the fact that it was a bit on the cool side. At least the air was fresh, and the carpets have been freshly vacuumed and some of the windows washed, so the house smells nicer than it did.

Alger and his sister both visited the yard this afternoon, but the third kitty has been missing for about a week now. I doubt that I'll ever see him again.

Shrinking paragraphs.
