Alger must have enjoyed the first day of spring. He went romping across the roof several times. To me it didn't seem as springlike as the last day of winter turned out to be. Yesterday was all bright sun and mild breezes, while today had a silvery overcast and the air was cool and sometimes gusty. Somebody got their dates mixed up.

My hours are mixed up. I still haven't gotten my old schedule back, though I'm getting enough sleep. The problem is that the sleep is mostly nocturnal. Come midnight I find it hard to keep my eyes open, and I end up waking at eight o'clock in the morning. It's like I've turned into a normal person. Normal feels all wrong to me.

Being awake in the daytime is helping with the various cleaning projects, though. It's much easier to get the windows clean when there's daylight coming through them. Also seeing by light of day the amount of dust and grime in the house is a powerful incentive to get rid of it.

I'm getting sleepy right now. What a temporal disaster.
