Cukeless

My weekly grocery shopping was delayed until today. Despite getting a bargain on Sierra Nevada beers, I was as displeased with the experience as ever. And I forgot to buy a cucumber. My sandwiches will lack the satisfying crunch of them until I can arrange another shopping trip (shudder) which probably won't be until after the weekend. Talk about mixed feelings. At least two shopping-free days (yay) but no cucumber sooner than Monday (boo!) I guess I'll have a beer and celebrate/feel sorry for myself.

In other news, I'm pretty sure I saw Portia doing tai-chi this afternoon. I don't know if she knew she was doing it, or if she just sort of discovered that a series of slow stretches with her paws in midair felt good. Probably the latter, as she's never shown herself to have much brain power previously.

Most likely nothing will interesting happen this weekend. I can nap. And dream of cucumber.
