Respite

My Internet connection is very sluggish today. It might be trying to go into hibernation because of the cold. I wouldn't mind hibernating for a few days myself, but then who would feed the feral cats? Instead, I'm just napping in front of the television a lot. The afternoon sun woke me from one of those naps today, so I went out and watched a bit of the snow melt. Another inch or so fell overnight, but the sunlight got rid of much of it. Tomorrow should eliminate most of what remains.

It should all be gone by the time another storm arrives. Yes, another storm. After a couple of clear days, clouds and rain will return, and then probably more snow. Better late than never with the whole winter thing, I guess. I won't have to start irrigating the plants yet after all.

Another nap now.
