Blanketed

Very little snow fell last night, and today brought several hours of bright sunshine, but there is still about seven inches of snow parked on my driveway. No newspaper was delivered today, and yesterday's paper is still buried somewhere in that frozen waste. There's been no mail delivered for two days, either. The couriers have been stayed from their appointed rounds after all, it seems. There's some chance of more snow Sunday night. I hope it doesn't get too thick. Monday I have to go to the dentist and get fitted for that crown. Not looking forward to that.

The Internet connection is still iffy here. I don't think AT&T's equipment likes the cold any more than I do.

Big pawprints in the snow. I don't know what made them, but Portia is staying in. I hope the feral kitties manage to avoid getting munched.
