rejectomorph: (geese)
The sky was goosed this evening. A flock tempted northward by the recent warm days hastened back toward the valley not long after sunset, filling the rainy air with honking. Now we're looking at another full week of overcast and intermittent rain. I'm getting as impatient as those geese. It's awfully late in the winter for me to be developing Seasonal Affective Disorder, but I feel it coming on. I want to sit on the back porch with a glass of iced tea and smell the jasmine blooming. Enough with the geese going back and forth!

Oh, and that putrid shade of chartreuse yellow on this month's LJ masthead isn't helping my mood any. I've seen colors more pleasant in unflushed urinals.
