There Goes the Neighborhood, Again

LJ went away for several hours and I didn't get to post an entry yesterday. Another DDoS attack, apparently. Those Russian spammers who recently got booted must really be pissed. Unless the conspiracy theories circulating in Russia are right, and it's some group in the Russian government that's behind the attacks. Anyway, it's annoying, whoever is doing it. Well, it's too late to nuke Russia now. I blame Harry Truman.

Cruel

Pollen: the real reason April is the cruelest month. All the plants making up for time lost to the long rainy season are spewing forth pollen from their nefarious vegetative 'nads. Why their pollen thinks my nose is a female flower I don't know, but that must be what's happening. Still hoping for another rainy day or two, I drag myself around the house, which is full of strategically placed boxes of tissue. Maybe I ought to try dragging the vacuum cleaner instead. That would probably be pointless, though. The stuff just keeps coming. There isn't enough mechanical suction in the world to clean it all up. Feh.
