It was another dull day, brightened at its end by a fairly colorful sunset. There might be some nice moon-watching opportunities tonight, the moon being full and the sky having both a haze and a few patches of clouds. There will probably be a giant halo around the moon. The moonlight is going to be handy during the hours when the electricity has gone off, too. If Portia is out at that time, she's going to be surprised to find that she's returning to a dark garage. I don't have enough battery-powered lights to illuminate both the garage and house. Maybe I'll put a candle out there for her, but I hope that she'll have returned from her nightly gallivant and be indoors by the time the power goes out. There's a little over five hours to go.

Now to use up one last frozen lasagna.
