Rush

It's probably going to rain again tonight. I'm sure the feral cats are heartily sick of rain, but I've noticed that hardly a single tom cat has been around to bother them since this wet spell began. It could be the rain that's keeping them away, or it could be that animal control has made another sweep of the neighborhood and carted most of the toms off. There are undoubtedly more where they came from, though, so I expect to see a bunch when the weather improves.

There's a very good chance that I'm going to get wet again myself when I go shopping this week. I'll wear a hoodie. The cats don't have hoodies. At least the azaleas appear to be thriving, despite the chilly weather. The red ones are numerous but individually puny, and the white ones are few but large and healthy looking. I'm surprised to see so many, as last year they didn't bloom at all.

Now I'm going to go watch the Harold and Kumar movie I've missed the last four times it's been on. I've seen the ending all four times, but missed most of it, and have always missed the part where Doogie Houser gets killed. Tonight I intend to see it all. Except the first four minutes, which are already over.
