Wetness

It's been a soggy day, but much less windy than expected. The first half of the night has been pretty much the same. The wind might get stronger later in the storm, of course, but so far the neighborhood trees are all still standing despite the saturated ground. So far there are no actual leaks in the ceiling, either, but as the roof has not been repaired I dread to think what might be happening in the attic. I could have a lake over my head right now, packed with wet insulation. Come to think of it, a lake packed with wet insulation is pretty much what the inside of my head feels like, so if the ceiling falls on me I might think my head has broken open.

I think I'll go into another room.
