I missed my appointment with the chiropractor today, due to transportation-related issues (no, I have not been transported.) I've been rescheduled to next Tuesday. My neck could get very stiff by then. At least I'll have some nice weather to be uncomfortable in. Today has been splendid. Once the back yard fell into the shadow of the house I watered all the plants, including the patches of lamb's ear, which have begun sprouting deep magenta flowers.
There are loads of baby oak trees out in the back half of the back yard this year. I think it's because I left a layer last fall's leaves on the ground, and squirrels hid acorns under them and didn't retrieve them, and a lot of them took root. Also, the feral cats have probably fertilized them.
The better the weather gets, the less time I want to spend with the computer. I don't even want to spend time cooking dinner, so I'm just going to make a sandwich. I'd eat it outside, too, except that three cats would stare at me the whole time I was eating. Better to eat indoors where there's only one cat to stare at me.
