The Wrong Day
Jun. 8th, 2012 09:37 pmHaving several cats creep toward me at once reminds me a bit of Night of the Living Dead.
All day long I've thought it was Saturday. I have no idea what threw me off, but I was mentally prepared to go shopping tomorrow. Now that I've figured out that it's Friday I have an empty day ahead of me and just don't know what to do with it.
At least the weekend heat has been canceled, so maybe I can do something outdoors. I'm not sure what, though, as the lawns are mowed, the rose bushes are pruned, and everything is watered. I suppose I'll just sit around and watch zombie-like cats creep toward me. The joke will be on them, though. They've already eaten my brains. Maybe that's why I thought today was Saturday.
Now for dinner, made terribly late by a four-hour unintentional evening nap.
