Droop

A string of mild summers left me ill equipped to deal with this year's heat. I'm as withered as the poor jasmine blossoms that had such a brief life. Tonight I didn't even feel like making a sandwich for dinner, so I just had a slice of watermelon and a nap. Several more days such as this loom ahead. Yearning for Tierra del Fuego.
