Fork

The high pressure that is bringing this heat is also keeping the smoke from the wildfire at bay most of the day, so I have mixed feelings about it. It's unpleasant to get cooked, but it's nice to be able to breathe. I'm going to run out of fruit before I get to the store again, though, and will be forced to do some cooking while being cooked, unless I resort to peanut butter on stale bread. Anyway, this is turning out to be the most exhausting summer I've endured in a long time, and my energy is just about gone. Stick a fork in me. I'm going to go watch television and eat the last of the nectarines.
