On the Way

Two daffodils have bloomed in my back yard, and several more are on the verge of blooming. They are going to get battered by the rain that will arrive tomorrow and continue Wednesday, and might not survive the very low temperature on Thursday night, after the storm has passed. I probably will survive the very low temperature, as long as the storm doesn't lead to a prolonged power outage, but it's going to cost me. As the storm could bring lightning, I have to schedule my meals so I won't be cooking anything oven-dependent for the next couple of days. I really wish that this house had a gas oven.

It's a good thing my head-yanking appointment is tomorrow. Not only do I get neck pains when I turn my head a certain way, but the headache keeps coming back. It was probably the unintentional naps on the couch that got it so out of place again. If only television weren't so good at putting me to sleep.
