Disappointment

Another storm has failed to do what storms are supposed to do— to be a storm. Yesterday evening there were five or ten minutes of sprinkles, and this evening it sprinkled for another five or ten minutes. It was barely enough to make the asphalt smell wet, and it certainly isn't going to make anything grow. Dry, cloudy days accomplish nothing. I had to irrigate the lilac bushes and the azaleas again. Water should be free in March!
