Spring

The yard got a good soaking from the recent rain, and the plants are now looking quite lush. The wind has been reduced to gentle breezes, and the day was mild, though it was not warm enough to keep the windows open for long. Tomorrow will be very warm, though, so the house will get aired out. It now feels very much like spring. I only hope the pollen count doesn't rise too much tomorrow. It's been a relief to have the rainy days while the mulberry tree was blooming, but there are other plants that will start releasing pollen now. I expect to do some sneezing tomorrow, and probably for the rest of the week. It will be worth it not to have the furnace running so much, though. Every sneeze is a penny saved! All that remains to be seen is if I will save enough for a candy bar or for a six pack of beer. Spring is here.
