Disruptions
Aug. 3rd, 2013 09:10 pmDue to a transportation issue, I had to do my grocery shopping a day early this week. That means I'll have Sunday afternoon free, but it also means that today got knocked out of whack. It was already somewhat out of whack due to my odd sleep pattern. After being up way too many ours, I finally fell asleep about ten o'clock last night, but slept only a couple of hours. I got back to sleep half an hour or so after that, and slept another two hours. Pretty much the same thing repeated two more times, and I finally woke up around eight o'clock in the morning. Because I went shopping this afternoon I didn't take a nap, so it's possible that tonight will be a repeat of last night. Such weirdness is disturbing, entirely aside from the exhaustion it brings.
It's likely that going shopping on the wrong day caused me to forget some things that I was going to buy. I usually complete my list Saturday night, so this afternoon I had to rush. I've already noticed a couple of items I failed to get, and there are undoubtedly more. And I still have no idea what I'm going to eat for my very late dinner. Maybe I'll just check the refrigerator to see what is closest to its expiration date.
On the subject of expiration, I've seen several dead or dying bees in the yard over the last few days. Somebody's colony must be collapsing. I wonder what plants will go unpollinated? I hope that some of those that make me sneeze will be among them.
