Lately I've been going to sleep before midnight and waking up about four o'clock in the morning. When I go outside I see the waning crescent moon giving me a mocking grin. What does it think is so damned amusing?
The clouds have gone away, sot here's nothing to hold the warmth in by night. It's going to get very cold. I can already feel it. The thermostat is still set to 66 degrees, as it was last night, but last night I was comfortable wearing a hoodie and tonight I am draped in a blanket over the hoodie and still chilly. The good news is that next Tuesday's 60% chance of snow has been downgraded to a 20% chance of rain. At least I won't have to shovel anything to get to the mailbox.
This computer is getting slower every day. It has become a real annoyance to use it. I'm thinking maybe I should save up enough to get a cheap Chromebook, just so I can stay minimally connected to the Internets. I don't know how much life Butch has left in him, nor how much life I'll have left in me if I have to keep using him. Can you die from tearing your hair out?
