How Dry

The sunny day brought pleasant warmth, and I was able to open the windows for a while and freshen the house, but I find that I missed the rain and the gray skies. The feral cats were probably delighted to be able to get out and frolic and inspect their territory without getting wet, but I moped about mourning the soft patter of raindrops. Maybe if I had fur (and didn't have a house) I'd have been happier. But I don't have fur and I do have a house, and I'm getting a bit worried that the forecast for Sunday now predicts a 90% chance of rain instead of the 100% chance that it previously predicted. I want that storm, even if it gets me wet when I go shopping. I've grown accustomed to rain and I don't like being without it.
