Recovering
Aug. 12th, 2014 11:47 pmThe water heater finally got fixed this evening. I had loads of dishes and laundry to do. It ended up that the part had to be replaced, but was less expensive than I'd expected, though still pretty costly. Anyway I can now recover from the disruption (and get ready for the next one.)
Tonight I hope to actually get cold before morning. It's supposed to get down to about 60 degrees outside, so the house might get down to 63 or 64. Except for when I had to take a cold a cold shower because the water heater was broken this will be the first time I've shivered in weeks. I'm really looking forward to it. I might even have to get under a blanket, and if the cat curls up next to me I won't feel too hot. Hot water and chilly air! Such luxury!
