Dec. 18th, 2014 11:30 pmThere was an absence of rain, but very little sunshine today. The rain will start again tonight, and could continue through Saturday. After that it should clear and turn colder. Actually it will turn colder even before it clears, and I expect the furnace to be working a lot tonight and tomorrow. I'll probably have to get out to the store tomorrow, too, for a Friday only special.
And I need to find some speakers for the computer, as the woofer that came with it has crapped out, and the two side speakers are tinny without it. About the only places to get cheap speakers around here would be K-mart (there's a Radio Shack, but you have to go through that annoying time warp to get into it) so I might stop in there tomorrow, if the crowds aren't too big. The place is apt be a zoo this close to Christmas.
Today I ended up having one of those long naps again, and I'm still a bit groggy from it. I've pretty much given up on the idea of ever having a regular sleep schedule again, so I should probably just get used to being groggy. Maybe I can pass it off as a lifestyle choice.
But right now I'm going to go watch the last ever Colbert Report. At least since I napped there's very little chance that I'll fall a sleep during it.
