One Of These Days

The robin was back today, hanging out in my back yard for several hours. I think it has moved in. Later, after nightfall, I heard a flock of geese flying north. Maybe they are just taking advantage of the mild temperatures to go fishing in the mountain lakes. There's not a whole lot of water in the valley right now, so the fishing grounds there are probably getting crowded with hungry birds.

My house is filled with a hungry me. Time flew today, and I haven't gotten around to fixing my dinner yet. This late it will probably end up being something microwaved. I was supposed to deal with AT&T today, but didn't get around to that either. My account which they screwed up four months ago still hasn't been fixed. I'd really like to kick them to the curb, but the only alternative for Internet is Comcast, and the only alternative telephone service is cellular, and reception is utter crap here. I'll try to get around to calling them tomorrow, if I can get focused for a couple of hours. I'm not really expecting a positive result, though. AT&T has doubled down on both its incompetence and its malevolence.

I'd better go find something to eat before I get even crankier.
