Boom

There hasn't been any rain yet, but I've seen some lightning flashes in the mountains, and a minute ago I heard thunder. The afternoon was all bright sun and big, fluffy white clouds, but the evening is apt to rapidly turn stormy. I'll have to shut the computer down now. The thunder is growing louder and more frequent. It will probably be raining furiously within an hour, and it will probably continue through the night and into tomorrow. I've got a light that straps to my head so I can read books when the power goes out without worrying about where to put the battery powered lantern,which has always been a problem. It's very likely I'll get a chance to test the headlamp tonight. Thunderstorms almost always bring power outages here.
