All In the Timing

To my surprise, the overcast that arrived yesterday brought a drizzle today. The local weather station is saying we've had .32 inches today. Normal total for March is about 10 inches, so we'd have to have this every day for the rest of the month to get to about a third of that. There won't be any rain tomorrow, though. It's supposed to be sunny with the high temperature popping back up to 75 degrees, with more warm, dry days to follow. I'll probably have to start watering the plants by next Monday at this rate. Still, it's delightful to have another day without pollen.

Friday is going to be busy. There is stuff I was going to do last week but didn't get around to, plus I'd like to go shopping if I can arrange the transportation, and if I can fit everything into the time available. The pollen will undoubtedly be back by then, so I'll also have to arrange plenty of time for sneezing.

Right now I haven't arranged today's time very well because I've got stuff in the oven and I have to go make stuff to go with it, so it was a bad time to start writing a journal entry. Portia thinks it is a bad time for writing and a bad time for cooking. She thinks its a good time for petting the cat. My stomach says otherwise. Those two will never get along.
