Maladjusted

Shopping on Monday has left me confused. I keep thinking it's Sunday. I was confused in the store, too, as I could have spent about twenty dollars more and gotten a nine dollar discount on the whole order. I totally forgot about that offer until I was through the check stand. I could have picked up my kitty litter at a considerable discount. Disorganization is a costly curse.

It was a nice day to be out, though, with lots of sunshine, though it remained fairly cool here. It got warmer in the valley, but I didn't have to go there. The next few days should be sunny and mild, but then there could be more rain next weekend. Thanks to all the rain, the lawns are growing fast, and will have to be mowed soon, probably before the end of the month. There are still a few leaves scattered about from last fall, which shows how lazy I've been this winter.

The change in time has also got me confused, as usual. I keep thinking it's earlier than it is, and haven't even fixed dinner yet. Totally missed something I was going to watch on television, too. I like the darker mornings and the longer evenings, but for the first few days after the clocks change there's a price to be paid.

Time to go figure out what to eat. It has to be something quick again. Ah, I think I hear the microwave calling me. Or is it just a can of beans?
