The day turned to chilly for open windows, and the night is going to be colder. The next couple of days will be about the same as today, but the nocturnal temperatures will be going even lower. It has been getting cloudier, too, though we still had some sunshine today. I hope clouds don't interfere with my moon watching, as the upcoming full moon is to be (or will appear to be, more accurately) the biggest since 1948, and I was too young to go out and look at that one. Also the forecast now predicts rain on Tuesday, which is the day I'll be going to the chiropractor. Inconvenient.

My feral cats were oddly energetic today. It must be due to the colder weather. Maybe the exercise to stay warm. I could have done that myself, but didn't. The leaves remain un-raked, and I probably won't have time to get to them tomorrow, so they'll still be un-raked (and un-binned) when the refuse collector comes around Tuesday morning. I'm not sure this is a yard waste week, anyway. It might be a recycling bin week. I used to remember such things, but now I have to look at the schedule— if I can remember where I put it.

I didn't get around to checking the television guide today, either, so I have no idea what's on tonight. I've spent most of the evening dealing with this recalcitrant computer, which seems to get slower every time I use it. After that, it probably won't matter what's on television tonight. Anything will be better than waiting for this machine to open a web page. Now it's only a matter of how long it will take to shut the thing down. That seems to take longer each time, too. I think I'd better get started with that task right now.
