Reset Forty-Two, Day Twenty-One

I thought I'd be done with this by now, but I got distracted and then I hit a wall and all I've done for the last half hour is listen to Coldplay and nod off. I really ought to be asleep. Friday was hot, of course, but night cooled off a bit. It will be the last reasonably cool night for the next two weeks, at the very least. I ate something for dinner but can't remember what it was and don't feel like figuring it out. It gave me indigestion.

I did get the utility bill Friday, and was surprised that it wasn't bigger than it was. It turns out that I actually used less electricity this period than I did last year at this time, though the bill was higher this year since the price per KWH has increased. Still I'm glad it wasn't the twenty or thirty bucks higher that I was expecting. Last year the August bill was a bit lower than the July bill. We'll see how that goes this year.

I really need to get to sleep. I'm never not tired anymore, even when I'm not sleepy, but right now I'm sleepy. I hope I'm out before the sky starts turning bright. 102 degrees predicted today.
