Reset Forty-Two, Day Thirty-Three
Aug. 4th, 2022 05:08 amAll I have to say of Wednesday is too damned hot. But that's what I've been saying about most days. Thursday is going to be too damned hotter, and right now it's too damned hot for nighttime and also too damned humid. Can you say miserable? Uh huh. I thought you could. But probably not as often as I say it.
For Wednesday dinner I opened a can of lentil soup. Tasty, but highly conducive to the silent but deadlies. But fan on, windows open, so problem... minimized. What's one extra misery anyway?
I was going to check the supermarket ads Wednesday but totally flaked. I actually forgot what day it was. I watered the plants in the backyard again. Monday is watering day, and for about half an hour in the evening I thought it was Monday. Oh well. I probably won't be arrested for violating the one-day-a-week watering regulation that's in effect because of the drought. And if I do the police will be sorry. Or at least my fellow prisoners will (silent but deadlies.) They ought to make allowance for people in the early stages of Alzheimer's anyway.
Today I absolutely must check the supermarket ads, as Friday I absolutely must shop for groceries. I'm out of way too much stuff that I need if I wish to function, which I do. I don't know what my sleeping hours will be. I'm tired now, but not very sleepy. Some book reading might induce a bit of nodding. I'll try that.
Vert.
