Reset Forty-Three, Day Twenty-Five
Sep. 1st, 2022 04:42 amWednesday was the last day of August and I forgot to check my Idernet data usage. It has been steadily creeping up ever since I began using the mobile phone as my access point. It was about 20GB a month when I started out in January, 2019, and recent months have been nudging 36GB. I'm still well under the data cap where I get a warning about usage, but I still like to keep an eye on it.
After sleeping restlessly for a few hours I got up at three in the afternoon feeling overheated. I had a late lunch of an avocado sandwich, then didn't feel like eating dinner. Instead I snacked on a packet of tuna and some crackers around midnight. Outside was unpleasantly hot but not as hot as it's going to get soon. The weather service's excessive heat warning will be in effect from Saturday morning until Tuesday evening, and there are also warnings of possible power outages.
Oh, hours passing while I was distracted. I think I was going to say something else but it's gone now. I might as well go away too, it's getting late again.
Wait, I remember part of it. The crescent moon was out when I went to check the mailbox Wednesday evening. It reminded me of something, but that is still gone. Maybe I'll see the crescent moon again tonight and it will come back to me. Right now I ought to go to sleep.
