My left elbow periodically decides to give me a bad time, which it did on Sunday. It joined a number of other body parts that have been misbehaving, but made itself the diva of the day. I might have slept on it wrong. In fact I might have slept on it wrong twice, once in the morning and once in the evening. The evening sleep lasted a very long time, and I didn't get up again until two o'clock this morning, which was too early for breakfast but not entirely too late for dinner, so I ate that. Right now I'm heating a can of ministrone, as I doubt I can get back to sleep for at least a couple more hours. On the other hand, eating now might make me sleepy, so who knows?

Sunday was overcast but brought little rain, and today will probably be about the same. Tuesday is supposed to be actually sunny. I have no idea what I'll do, and I hope it doesn't frighten me too much. Rain should be back on Wednesday, though that is the last storm in the current forecast. The rest of January could be mild and mostly dry, but at this point February is anybody's guess.

In the meantime, a page at another web site sent me to a YouTube video (actually just music with a still of an album cover) of Stevie Wonder's 1972 song Looking for Another Pure Love, which I remembered vaguely but hadn't heard in years. It turns out that the guitar on this track was by Jeff Beck, who died the other day at 78. The song is better than I remember it, and the guitar work is quite nice. Thanks for all the lovely music, Jeff. RIP.
