Reset Forty-Eight, Day Eleven
Feb. 25th, 2023 06:18 amSnow came to the north end of the valley Friday, and to the nearby foothills, but the mini-metropolis got only rain. There was quite a bit of it, but I slept through much of it. In the afternoon I managed to get someone to make a run to Safeway where I got several Friday sale items. Alas, my brain muddled one item and I ended up with something that was not part of the sale, being the wrong brand. Does that make sense? Not much does to me anymore. But anyway I got some stuff, and though I was unable to organize my thought sufficiently to get everything I wanted, I did make arrangements for a pickup today as well, when I will get everything else that I can both remember and afford.
Friday evening a needed a post-shopping nap, even though the only thing I'd done was write a list and put stuff away when it got here. I was exhausted! I woke up after about three hours, but still felt tired so I went back to sleep for another two hours. Dinner waited until all that was over, so pretty late. More recently I've downed a bowl of grits, which seemed appropriate on a chilly winter night. I'm not sure my stomach approved though. It's feeling like it might be about to hit me with some more reflux. I intend to refuse to stay awake for it. I will maintain my tenuous grip on reality for a bit longer than go back to sleep. Another busy day ahead, with some sunlight this time. Back to gray, rainy winter Sunday.
