Reset Forty-Eight, Day Seventy-Two
May. 6th, 2023 04:43 amMy memory is quite fuzzy, but I think I might have had breakfast twice on Friday. I know I woke up once very early, before dawn, and I didn't want to eat another donut so soon after the one Thursday afternoon, and I think I might thus have made a batch of pancakes instead. And then in the afternoon (there might have been a nap, but I'm not positive) I made toast, hash browns and scrambled eggs, which turned out pretty good. I also think that, it then being afternoon, this second breakfast got washed down with a bottle of Guinness. That lead to another nap, and quite a long one, as it was after ten o'clock when I woke again.
There ought to have been a sandwich for dinner but I never got around to it, and recently I haven't felt like eating a sandwich so I'm currently having some spicy nacho Doritos dipped in sour cream. So far I've resisted the urge to open another beer, and have made do with some sparkling water. Either the chips or the sour cream will soon run out, and then I will quit eating and drinking, so there probably won't be a beer opened. Some sort of antacid, though? Yes, quite likely.
We got some sprinkles early Friday morning, and we're getting some more now, and in between it was mostly overcast. The forecast is predicting full on rain this morning, and I'll probably sleep through it. I actually thought today was Sunday until I checked the computer's calendar, and I almost posted a Sunday Verse. I'm so out of touch with time's passage. It doesn't care though. It passes as it pleases anyway, and there's nothing I can do about it.
