The other tenants here failed to put their trash bins out for collection Tuesday. They were fooled by the holiday, I guess. I checked the refuse company's web site and made sure that Memorial Day is not one of the holidays that effects trash collection. The people in the front unit also had their bins out, but I don't know if they got them out in time or not. I also don't know if those who didn't get their bins out will spring for a special pickup, or just try to use my bin for all their stuff this week. That has happened before.

Such is the excitement of my life that this event is journal worthy. So is my acid indigestion, which was set off my my Tuesday dinner chili. That was the last of the leftovers, so maybe I can avoid another bout for a couple of days. I'll still have plenty of other stuff to annoy me, like my itchy legs and swollen feet, so I won't miss it. I wish I could not miss it right now though, as I napped Tuesday night, when I forgot to recharge my phone and thus lost internet, and the nap somehow turned into almost a full night's sleep, and I just got up about four o'clock. I sort of want some breakfast but don't dare eat yet.

Another period of highs in the nineties will be coming up Friday through Monday. The rest of the next couple of weeks will only reach the moderately uncomfortable eighties. I guess I can live with that, if I don't die.
