Reset Forty-Nine, Day Seventeen
Jun. 10th, 2023 06:29 amGroceries were fetched Friday, and after being awake too long in the morning I crashed through most of the late afternoon and evening. Grocery fetching is exhausting, even when I don't have to do it myself. But now I have DONUTS and some CAKE and other things more nutritious though less delicious. I have lots of red cabbage which I intend to cook and eat over the next couple of weeks as I heard that red cabbage is good at reducing belly fat. I sort of need to do that as I have a couple of not-very-old shirts I like which I can no longer button.
After the long evening nap I spent Idernet time and was just about to write a journal entry when I found I had let the phone battery go dead again and thus lost my Idernet connection. While waiting for it to recharge I fell asleep and had a hell of a time waking up enough to get this entry written. Once it is posted it's back to bed for me. I think I was having a pleasant dream about going to the beach, and I'd like it back. I just realized haven't seen the ocean in almost 38 years. How have I survived?
To make up for the dream I might or might not have lost, I dug this up: From 1986, Chris Rea's jazzy fusion classic "On the Beach."
