Reset Forty-Nine, Day One Hundred-Seven
Sep. 8th, 2023 08:23 amAt this hour, unfed, sleepless, but the groceries are ordered and pickup time set, although I'm sure I've forgotten things and that the store will be out of some of that stuff I ordered. Later they will pester me in texts with mostly pointless questions about substitutions during the time I'd like to be catching up on a bit of sleep, but I guess that's better than actually going out and traipsing through the store in a state of exhaustion. I can be exhausted in my own apartment! I also hope to get a shower before then, but I don't know how the time will do what time does.
Thursday I did get some laundry done, though not all that I'd have liked to have gotten done. I also got some of the obsolete clothes into a box and out of the way, clearing a bit of space on the rack for some of the new stuff. More needs to be done, of course. That's the way the world works, with more to be done, always. But right now what needs done is me eating something, before I fall over.
By the way I feel like I lost about two percent of my remaining brain cells overnight. At least three times I told myself to open some windows and turn on the fan and cool this place down a bit, and I still haven't done it. And I didn't even drink. Maybe I should have.
