Reset Forty-Nine, Day One Hundred Eighty
Nov. 22nd, 2023 06:29 amFedEx finally delivered my package Tuesday. Their text said it would be here between 10:40 and 2:40, so it arrived around half past four. It is thinner than I expected— in fact more like a sheet than a blanket, so I'll probably use it as a sheet. I hoped the two packages the Postal Service has would arrive Tuesday too, but nope. Maybe they'll get here today.
Tuesday I kept getting sleepy quickly. I couldn't seem to stay awake more than three hours at a time, so it was nap after nap all day. Since getting up from the last one about one o'clock this morning I've managed to keep my eyes open, but that is about to end. I fried three potatoes and washed them down with a bottle of Guinness, and now I've gotten quite logy. I suspect today is already doomed. I actually don't care very much, since I have new blankets to sleep under. The red one is quite soft and cozy, even if it isn't wool. I hope it stays that way after it gets washed.
Internet just reminded me this is the 60th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination. Damn, suddenly that was a long time ago. Most people who read this probably won't remember it. Pretty soon I probably won't either. Here's a nice song I've come to appreciate more since I started getting demented:
