Reset Forty-Three, Day Sixteen

Sunday I remembered my second artichoke. It takes a lot of patience to eat an artichoke, but then I really had nothing else to do. It's not like my life is full of activities, and anyway it was Sunday so there wasn't even snail mail delivery. I squandered much of the evening watching music theory videos on YouTube, though it's unlikely I'll ever make use of them, and then I spent some time trying to memorize a poem, just as brain exercise to help stave of dementia, as I've heard that such activities can do that, though naturally I don't remember where.

The memorization didn't go too well anyway. It's likely I've already forgotten more than I'll ever be able to memorize again. I've always liked the way a beach looks after it's been swept clean by the tide, so maybe my brain will be like that eventually. That might not be so bad. Sort of like dreamless sleep. I'll try to get some of that now.
