Reset Fifty, Day Twenty-Five
Aug. 5th, 2024 07:06 pmThe hell am I doing? Almost a whole day has gone by again with me not posting anything. Sleeping at night and waking up in the morning just isn't working out for me. Damn sultry nights aren't helping. Sultry is bound to continue for some time yet, but no telling what the sleep schedule will do.
Hotter and dryer is bad news for the firefighters. The Park Fire has topped 400,000 acres, including 95,000 acres in Lassen National Forest and all 41,000 acres of the Ishi Wilderness, and hundreds of houses and many other structures
have burned. The fire is 34% contained so there's still a lot of opportunity for it to expand quickly if the conditions allowing it arise.
Ooh, and an extra special browser crash, just the fillip I needed to turn the day perfect. Crap, I give up. I'm going back to sleep now. Dinner be screwed. I'd probably burn it anyway.
