51/39: Ready Or Not
Oct. 21st, 2024 07:29 amAlthough I keep thinking it's later than I think I think it's usually earlier than I think. I'm also misjudging the temperatures. It's getting to be the time of year when I should keep the windows open in the daytime to capture some warmth to last through the chilly nights, but I keep forgetting. And then I forget how quickly I get tired anymore, and end up trying to do things I'm too tired to do. And that's when it actually is later than I think.
There are some quite chilly nights coming up in the forecast, including a low of 49 this very night. They'll get even chillier next week, and there will also be some days with highs in the mere sixties. It looks like that's the week when I'll first have to use the furnace this fall. Its been so nice the last couple of weeks, and I'll miss the brief autumnal mildness. I never really miss summer, or winter, but I do miss early autumn once it's gone. Best part of the year, at least in these parts.
I'm sure there's stuff I should be doing, but I feel like sleeping again, so that's what I'm going to do. I had some coffee not long ago, too. Caffeine just doesn't work the way it once did. And neither do I.
