51/85: Stuck
Dec. 7th, 2024 11:05 amIt might be that I've recovered from Friday, and it might be that I never will. Online shopping is way more harrowing than I believe it needs to be, which is of course not at all. I don't think web designers deliberately make the experience harrowing. I think it's probably just a consequence of gratuitous asshattery. Never ascribe to malice what can be adequately explained by incompetence. But, criminy dutch, Safeway's system is so utterly asshatted it beggars description. Also, they were out of both kinds of donuts I ordered, and I don't know when I'll be able to get any elsewhere, so I might be buggered. Buggered by description beggars. What a fate.
Oh, wow, is this still here? (Duh.) I guess I was doping off again, and I haven't even had any dope. I think there was something I was thinking of saying, but I can't remember it now. Old guy memory crash. I've used computers with Windows for so long I've started acting like one. Or maybe Bill Gates did slip a chip into my brain. Anyway, I might as well post this (four hours later) since I probably won't make more sense as the day goes along. It's gotten chilly and I want to make something warm to eat anyway, and I can't do that with my arse stuck to this chair.
